Christmas at the Cornmill Centre

Glad tidings! This December, the Cornmill Centre in Darlington is spreading goodwill and festive cheers with a jam-packed schedule of free family fun. Tis the season to be jolly as the centre has a different Christmas activity planned every week:

Santa’s Grotto (From 2nd – 24th December)

The Cornmill Centre is lucky enough to have Santa and his Elves take time out of their super busy schedules to visit every weekend of December. Don’t miss the chance to see Santa in his magical grotto before the end of the year, he may even surprise you with an early Christmas treat!

Have you behaved your s-elf? (2nd December)

Have you been naughty or nice this year? There’s only one way to find out… Santa’s best Elves will be visiting the Cornmill specially to test out who’s stockings will be full of presents and who will be getting coal.

Bling your bells (9th December)

Use sparkles, paint and glitter to get messy and make your own decorations! Spruce up your tree at home with decorations so colourful and sparkly that they’ll be treasured for years to come.

Elfie Selfie (December 16th)

One very special Elf has taken time off from helping Santa at the North Pole. He loves nothing more than having his picture taken and carries a large festive photo frame wherever he goes! You can even get your face painted to make sure you look picture perfect!

The Elf Factor (December 23rd)

Santa’s favourite band, the one and only, Elf Band are putting on an exclusive performance for the Cornmill Centre! Sing-a-long with them and learn the Elf-Shuffle.

Fancy a Bear Hug? (December 24th)

A giant polar bear and a cuddly penguin will be visiting all the way from the North Pole! They are really excited to give everyone a big warm hug, make sure you take a picture to remember it!
