Comedian and musician Richard Digance is preparing to entertain audiences in County Durham next week.
The BAFTA-nominated star takes to the stage at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Friday, 13 November as part of his autumn tour.
Not many guitarists can boast that they’ve played a duet with Queen’s Brian May, worked with Hollywood star Steve Martin and played an acoustic set with Status Quo – but Richard can.
He’s also performed at the London Palladium with the late Robin Williams and been a support act for everyone from Jethro Tull and Supertramp to Elkie Brooks.
Richard is also an established composer, creating the title music for a variety of TV shows including an award-winning mining documentary, where his music was performed by Grimethorpe Colliery Band.
Most recently, he composed the music for the audiobook of Bill Bryson’s The Road to Little Dribbling: More Notes from a Small Island.
Tickets for the performance, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced at £12.50.
To book, visit the box office at Bishop Auckland Town Hall or call 03000 269 524.
