Event organisers are being given the chance to ‘SoLve’ their festive requirements early thanks to one of the UK’s leading events companies.
After once again welcoming record visitors during the 2015 festive season, 1879 Events Management are already looking ahead to this year’s celebrations at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light (SoL).
The specialist catering and events company, which was established as a subsidiary of Sunderland AFC, has launched its new brochure for Christmas events in 2016 – with a number of special offers available for those who book early.
Highlights include festive lunches, brasserie buffets with live music and Traditional Party Nights featuring tributes to the 80s, 90s, Four Seasons and Take That.
A number of new packages will also be available for private parties, with suites to accommodate from 10 to 1000 guests.
In addition the new 141-bed Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, situated at the stadium site, will be offering overnight accommodation incentives for festive event-goers.
Gary Hutchinson, Commercial Director at Sunderland AFC, said: “Christmas 2015 was a record year for private and pre-organised events at the Stadium of Light, with more than 16,000 crackers being pulled across the festive season.
“This year we’re encouraging people to book as soon as possible to avoid missing out on the preferred dates, especially if it’s for a larger group or private function and hope that our early bird offers will be an added incentive to do just that.”
