Grilled Cheese Sandwich

If there’s something I personally love on this list– that would be grilled cheese sandwich. I mean, who wouldn’t love to bite on that oozing, creamy cheese hugged by two crunchy, toasted breads. I’m sure you already know how to make one, even with your eyes closed!

But to create more fireworks in your taste buds, we’re going to add twist in your usual (but still fancy) grilled cheese sandwich. Aside from the rock star of the recipe which is the cheese, you can also add chutney, pepper jelly, and tomato jam to step up the flavor profile of your sandwich!

Grilled cheese sandwich is so versatile you can add a bunch of new flavors without sacrificing the integrity of its cheesiness.

Lemon Garlic Pasta

The contrasting sour and savory taste of lemon and garlic takes this dish on our list. If you are tired of the spaghetti and carbonara and are looking for a lighter, fresher taste, then this is the perfect pasta recipe for you!

Simply sauté chopped garlic, lemon zest and juice in a pan with heated oil. If you have parsley, you can chopped them up and bring it into the fun as well. You can add some of the pasta water and cheese, letting it simmer for a few minutes. Finally, toss in the cooked pasta and mix well! Go ahead, serve yourself a bowl of this hearty treat!

One-ingredient ice cream

If I’m going to tell you that there’s a one-ingredient ice cream, then you won’t believe me. But why not try this recipe of Genius Recipe from Food52 and see for yourself?

Simply freeze a couple of sliced ripe bananas and take them out when it’s time for a food processor ride. If you simply can’t get enough of this guilt-free dessert, just freeze more bananas and blend them out again. You can also add a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a couple of marshmallows as toppings!

Likewise, you can also make a one-ingredient watermelon sorbet with guess what? Of course, it’s watermelon! Just follow the same steps you did with your ice cream and you’ve got two options for a healthy but yummy dessert!

Sausage French bread Pizza

Ran out of pizza dough and don’t have enough time to make one? Don’t worry! Just grab your French bread, slice it in half, and spread your pizza sauce, generously I might say, on top! Chopped sausages are the highlight meat topping of this recipe but don’t let this stop you from adding your favorite ones! Don’t forget your veggies such as bell pepper, onions, and mushrooms, and most importantly, cheese!

Pop your creation inside the oven toaster and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes and you’ve got yourself a rock star snack! Don’t forget to slice your pizza in serving pieces!

Roasted Veggie Chips

Looking for a healthier alternative to your salty chips? This recipe from PureWow will surely take your afternoon snack into a new, healthier level! Just slice thinly some root vegetables like radishes, beets, and turnips, drizzle a bit of olive oil, sprinkle some salt and pepper, and roast them inside the oven until they turn crispy.

The variety of vegetables brings such color appeal to the eye and variety of taste, on top of this snack’s healthy benefits! Here’s a tip: start a balcony veggie garden so you’ll get unlimited supply of veggies!

Chicken Piccata

Wanna try something easy but fancy on your chicken breasts? Well, simply dredge them with flour, fry until golden brown, and set aside.

Using the same the pan, prepare the sauce by adding lemon juice and white wine. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce is reduced in half. Add in two tablespoons of butter. Serve your chicken with the sauce poured on top! Simple but delish, right?

Reese’s Smoothie

Craving for some smoothie? Blend together 1- ½ ounce of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, 2-2/3 fl. Oz. of milk and two scoops of ice cream and you got yourself an instant guilty pleasure! We thank Hershey Food Service for this recipe!

S’mores

Who said that you need to camp out in the woods to enjoy a good serving of s’mores? Line your graham crackers on a cast-iron skillet. Top your biscuits with marshmallow and chocolate before popping your pan under the broiler. Some more s’more please!

Mediterranean Omelet

Nothing kick starts a good morning than seeing a sumptuous breakfast serve on the table. And a simple omelet can do the trick! Simply whisk 4 large eggs, ¼ cups of water, salt and pepper in a bowl until well-blended. Add butter to your heated pan and pour the egg mixture. When your eggs are slightly cooked, add feta or goat cheese, chopped tomatoes and onions on one side and fold the other side over—just like how you make your usual omelet! You can also add chopped herbs like basil, oregano, or tarragon for that extra kick of flavor!

Eating fancy doesn’t always mean that you’d go out in those expensive restaurants—sometimes you gotta do them inside of your condo! A great condo living will not be complete without a good food on the table or a snack to munch on during Netflix and chill nights. Through these recipes curated from the various corners of the internet, we hoped that you’ve found something that will tickle your taste buds and delight your mouth!
