The Heart of Teesdale Landscape Partnership is holding its Annual Forum on Wednesday 11th November at 6.30pm in the Witham Hall to celebrate its achievements over the last year.
The Annual Forum is an opportunity to find out what has been achieved over the past year, the impact the partnership has had as a whole and the plans for the final year of the partnership. There will be information about the work of the Heart of Teesdale and also information about how you can get involved with its projects. The evening will include talks from the partnership’s chairman, Graham Young, and the partnership manager, Alex Sijpesteijn, as well as presentations from three projects that were funded over the last year.
“This has been another jam packed year with loads of projects and activities going on”, says Alex Sijpesteijn, partnership manager. “This is our last Annual Forum and we are really keen to look at the impact the partnership has had on the area so we hope people will come along and share their views.”
A number of the Heart of Teesdale’s partner organisations and projects will be attending with information about their activities, including; Groundwork North East, Tees Rivers Trust, Durham Wildlife Trust, Artworks in Teesdale, Heritage Craft Alliance and Teesdale YMCA. There will be a chance both before and after the presentations to talk to staff, partners and members of the Advisory Group and ask any questions you may have.
There will be refreshments available at the event. The event is free, but if you plan to attend please contact the partnership in order for it to plan the catering. To do this and for more information please contact Alex Sijpesteijn on 03000 260842 or alex.sijpesteijn@durham.gov.uk.
