Stores at Parkway Shopping Centre in Coulby Newham have been offered a welcome extra pair of hands, as they head in to their busiest time of the year.

Zoe France, Centre Manager explains; Having spent many years working as a store manager, I understand how busy things can get. Both myself and centre Administrator Becki Ley will be working in several of our stores, shelf stacking and directing Christmas shoppers, on the run up to Christmas.

“I really enjoy meeting with retailers and talking with shoppers on the mall, continues Zoe. Being a hands-on manager ensures I really understand both the retailers and the shoppers. In fact, they are at the heart of everything we do at the Parkway”.

Andrew Tweddle , Store Manager of Boyes said, “It’s fantastic of Zoe and Becki to help us. I can tell you now they’re going to be very busy. Its lovely to see the community sprit that the centre radiates, also includes the retailers. They’ll need to wear their comfortable shoes!”

Other Christmas events at the centre include; Father Christmas in his winter woodland grotto, located near Home Bargains, a free tea party for seventy-five invited members of the elderly community at the adjoining Rainbow Leisure Centre, collection for the local food bank and a Twelve Days of Christmas promotion giving shoppers a chance to win a prize every day.
