A JOBS fair is to take place in Middlesbrough to give support for people seeking work.
The recruitment event is to provide the opportunity to meet employers who are currently recruiting and to find out about the support available to look for work.
It has been organised by Middlesbrough Council’s Troubled Families team and Jobcentre Plus and is aimed at the long-term unemployed.
It will take place at the Holiday Inn Express on Albert Road on Thursday, July 13, at 2.30pm.
There will be free refreshments and entry into a prize draw.
Vacancies for catering, production, customer service and driving will be available.
Agencies offering work include Holiday Inn Express, Fork in the Road, Boro Taxis, On a Roll Sandwich, Thirteen, Shaw Trust, National Careers Service, Learning Curve, Local Motion, Greatest Expectations and Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency.
