SUNDERLAND’s leading destination restaurant is offering diners the opportunity to enjoy some of its signature dishes at a bargain price, as part of the city’s first restaurant week.
Karbon Grill at the Hilton Garden Inn Sunderland has created a special menu which will run from 24 September until 2 October, as part of Eat Drink Sunderland Restaurant Week.
And the offer – which costs £10 for a two course meal and £15 for three courses – will give diners the opportunity to sample the international cuisine on the menu.
Starters include New York-style meatballs, buffalo chicken wings and herby hummus with pitta fries, with a Karbon burger, marinated grilled chicken, pork chop and sustainable fish and chips among the main courses on offer.
American-style favourite desserts are also featured on the menu, with warm chocolate brownie with Snickers ice cream and red velvet cake some of the options available.
The hotel has also put together a special coffee and cake offer for £5, which will run for the duration of Restaurant Week.
More than 50 restaurants and cafes across Sunderland are taking part in the city’s first Restaurant Week, aimed at showcasing the diverse range of options available.
Kim Kelso, General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Sunderland, said the hotel and restaurant were delighted to get behind the initiative.
“It’s fantastic that Sunderland is having its own restaurant week dedicated to highlighting what the city has to offer,” she said.
“We are hoping that people will use this opportunity to come and visit Karbon Grill and enjoy the great food and become regulars at our fantastic venue.”
