Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

May 14, 2019 #arable, #farmland

A productive block of grade three arable land and grass land totalling just over 270-acres (109- hectares) has been launched on to the market by land and property specialist, GSC Grays. The land, at Westfield Farm, South Loftus in Cleveland, is predominantly Grade 3, level or west-facing. It lies 100-160-metres above sea-level and has excellent access. The sale includes 15-acres of grassland; well-fenced and currently used for horse grazing.

Large blocks of productive arable land and grass land are in demand in the north-east region and GSC Grays director, John Coleman, is expecting considerable interest in the lotted sale.

‘The land is being offered in manageable and affordable parcels of fewer than 100-acres and all have good road access. This will benefit near neighbours who wish to add to their land holdings,” said Mr Coleman, who is based at the company’s Colburn branch near Richmond, North Yorkshire.

The land at Westfield Farm is being offered for sale in four separate lots: Lot one 80.88-acres (32.73-hectares); Lot two 64.20-acres (25.37-hectares); Lot three 98.57-acres (39.89-hectares); Lot four 26.84-acres (10.86-hectares). It is being marketed freehold and with vacant possession, with the benefit of Basic Payment Scheme entitlements at no additional cost.
