Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Last chance to apply to free tenant training programme

Screen Shot 2016-01-11 at 09.28.53County Durham tenants are being reminded there’s still time to enrol on a free course that looks at scrutinising housing performance.

‘Understanding Housing Management Performance Information’ will take place this Wednesday (13 January) and explores how scrutiny fits in with other forms of tenant involvement.

The interactive one-day session is being hosted by Dale & Valley Homes, Durham City Homes and East Durham Homes between 10am and 4pm, and will give attendees a better understanding of housing facts and figures.

As part of the County Durham Housing Group, the three local landlords are encouraging customers already involved in monitoring performance, service improvements, scrutiny and inspections to take part.

Peter Eldrett, Customer Involvement Manager at East Durham Homes where the course will be held, said: “This is a great opportunity for customers to learn about how housing performance is monitored, and how it feeds into the services they receive.”

Lunch will be provided and help to attend courses, such as transport, is available.
