Lions Launch New Line With Lemon Call Management Service

Teesside Lions Basketball Club are already shaping their ambitions to bring professional basketball to the area with the launching of a new club telephone number and 24/7 customer support provided by Stockton based firm Lemon Business Solutions.

Lions mascot ‘Sam Dunk’ visited Lemon to take the first call on the Lions new telephone number 01642 262818. Calls will now be managed by professional operators who can provide information from community training to game day fixtures and advice on how to purchase tickets.

Lemon was established in 2003 by joint managing directors Martin Anderson and Lesley Wratten. The pair started the company in modest beginnings above a garage more than 16 years ago and have progressed to a state of the art office facility at Preston Farm industrial estate. The business is going from strength to strength and fast approaching 100 employees with a host of national and international clients.

Lesley is pleased Lemon can play a role in the development of the Teesside Lions stating:

“It was great fun to have Sam Dunk in the office today. As a business, our partnership with Teesside Lions aligns with our own ambitions and we are keen to support their development and the provision of basketball to people of all ages in the community, both as players and spectators.”

Martin Anderson who has agreed to sponsor the Lions is also providing in-kind expertise including his valuable time to support the professional operation of the club and suggested the new Lemon operated phone service is just the beginning in a host of exciting projects for the club, adding:

“I am excited to be involved in the Teesside Lions. We have launched a new website, branding, and ahead of the new season in what we hope will be increased contact activity for the club we have set up the new call management system to ensure a smooth, professional service at the first point of contact.”

Club owner James Thomson has hailed the partnership as another significant step in bringing professional basketball to the area.

“We have spent more than eight months planning for the future and are now beginning to see the fruits of our labour in important aspects of the club’s infrastructure. Lemon strives to bring out the ‘Zest’ of customer service and I am grateful that clients, customers and fans of Teesside Lions will benefit from this service.” said Mr Thomson.
