NATIONAL market research agency, Explain, has invested in its expanding team by relocating to a new 3200sq ft office in Newcastle city centre after a period of significant growth.
The business, which reported a 9% increase in turnover in 2024 and boasts clients across the UK including several water companies, the UK’s Electricity and Gas Distribution Networks, and NHS Trusts and ICB’s has moved into Earl Grey House, on Newcastle’s iconic Grey Street, which was first built back in the 1830s.
Explain, is a full-service market research company delivering actionable insight to organisations in the North East, and across the UK. This move support’s the agency’s ambitions to continue it’s sustained growth in 2025 having recruited 5 team members into new roles in 2024, with recruitment forecast into 2025, following major client wins in 2024, in sectors covering technology, utility and health, including working with organisations to deliver insight to support decarbonisation.

Earl Grey House sits on Grey Street; not only cited as one of the Britain’s most beautiful roads but the centre of a new tech and business hub in the city.
