North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Stockton Borough CouncilTHROUGHOUT July, photography students from Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Learning and Skills Service will be showcasing some of their superb work at Stockton Central Library.

In this free exhibition, students will be showing off a different selection of their photography each week from Tuesday 5 July to Friday 29 July.

The images, which are in mono and colour, show both the creative and technical skills of the students who range from beginners to advanced learners.

Councillor Jim Beall, Stockton Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Services and Health, said: “The learners can be justly proud of their work, and this promises to be a great exhibition which shows their commitment to creating such top quality photographs with the support of their tutors.

“There is such a wealth of great photography to be showcased that we have had to accommodate the exhibition by changing it each week. I’d recommend this exhibition to anyone with an interest in photography to come down to the library and browse the wonderful images and support the students’ work.”

Denis and Andrew Dunning are a father and son duo of tutors for the Learning and Skills Service, and they’ve been left delighted with the work produced over the year.

Denis said: “The proof is in the pictures which show just how our students have progressed through the course and produced some great work and photographs.”
