A LEADING County Durham firm of solicitors is celebrating the success of its Court of Protection work by promoting one of its associates to a director.
Jemma Morland, (30) has been made a director of EMG Solicitors, where she specialises in Court of Protection and Trust matters.
Jemma manages the affairs of large groups of vulnerable people including those who have lost capacity through a variety of reasons including injuries at birth and catastrophic accidents.
EMG Solicitors, headed up by Emma Gaudern, specialises in Court of Protection matters and also acts as a Professional Deputy for a number of people across the UK.

The firm, based at Durham’s The Rivergreen Centre has gone from strength to strength since it launched in 2014, providing expertise in Court of Protection work, family law and wills trusts and probate.
The team has also recently expanded with the appointment of Jane Purvis as Practice Manager.
Jane, 44, from Durham, joined EMG Solicitors from BHP Law, bringing with her 25 years of experience.
She is an associate member of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management, The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals.
