STOCKTON-ON-TEES Borough Council has a new Cabinet.
During the Council’s Annual General Meeting which took place today, Wednesday 3 June, the Council appointed Councillor Bob Cook as Leader.
Councillor Cook confirmed the following councillors will assume portfolios for the following areas:
Deputy Leader and Adult Services and Health – Councillor Jim Beall
Regeneration and Transport – Councillor David Rose
Children and Young People – Councillor Ann McCoy
Access, Communities and Community Safety – Councillor Steve Nelson
Art, Leisure and Culture – Councillor Norma Wilburn
Environment and Housing – Councillor Mike Smith
Councillor Bob Cook, Leader of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, said: “This team has a great mix of experience and talent plus lots of ideas about how we can make the Borough a better place to live, work and visit. We will work together to lead on key priorities for the Borough – supporting our businesses and Town Centres, helping our communities to prosper, improving health and wellbeing for all and providing first class experiences and events.”
