Stockton law firm, Endeavour Partnership, is on track to reach its £10,000 target for the Prince’s Trust as it launches its 2017 planner, featuring some of the most iconic images of Teesside.
Earlier this year, the team at Endeavour took on the challenge of raising £10,000 for the Prince’s Trust with the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation pledging to match-fund Endeavour’s final fundraising figure.
Money raised from sales of the planners, which are £10 each, will support Fairbridge, the Middlesbrough centre of the Prince’s Trust, located near the Transporter Bridge, which provides training and educational opportunities for 16 to 25-year-olds.
The planner features 12 images of well-known Teesside landmarks and views all photographed by a member of Endeavour’s team. Nick Dent, from the commercial disputes department, is a keen amateur photographer and has included the likes of Roseberry Topping, Staithes, Norton Green, the Transporter Bridge, South Gare, Saltburn, Whitby and the Newport Bridge in the planner.
All of the 50-strong team at Endeavour Partnership have taken part in varied activities throughout the year to raise money including sponsored walks, bake-offs and the Transporter Bridge challenge, which saw 15 of the team climbing the 210 steps to the top of the bridge, over 160 feet above sea level.
Endeavour associates Martin McKinnell and Catherine Devereux are responsible for the firm’s corporate and social responsibility and fundraising efforts.
Catherine said: “A lot of hard work has gone into the 2017 planners and we’re delighted with the result. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of several businesses, every penny from the sales of the planners will go directly towards our fundraising total, so we’re hopeful this will help us reach our goal of hitting our £10,000 target before the end of the year.”
Martin said: “The whole team at Endeavour has been involved in our fundraising efforts and it has been great fun. We’re always committed to supporting one or two local charities a year. We try to get involved as much as possible with fundraising activities as well as providing our advice when it is needed as we have leading experts in the charitable field. We really enjoy our community partnerships as it helps us to understand what is happening at the heart of our region and we’ve had some tremendous support for this year’s Prince’s Trusts efforts.”
The planner has been sponsored by local firms including JT Atkinson, Anglo Scottish Asset Finance, Altec Engineering, Devereux Transport, ITS, Crystal Galleries, Sound Training, Begbies Traynor, Active Chartered Financial Planners, Intelect, Handelsbanken and the Build Directory.
Endeavour Partnership employs a team of 50 and has a reputation spanning over 16 years, providing expert advice on a range of business law matters including mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, employment, commercial property and corporate recovery and insolvency from its headquarters at Teesdale in Stockton.
