TEESSIDE PARK MARKS JUBILEE WITH THEMED ACTIVITY TRAIL FOR YOUNGSTERS

Teesside Park is inviting local youngsters to take part in a free Queen’s Jubilee themed activity trail during half term, with the chance to snap up a crafty prize at the end.

Running from Monday 30th May to Sunday 5th June, budding young detectives can kick off their adventure at the centre’s management suite where they can pick up their trail maps.

The trail will take them on an adventure around eight different stores at the popular shopping destination, with each stop making for a great royal selfie opportunity.

Once the trail hunters have completed the challenge and returned their completed maps to the management suite, they’ll receive a free Jubilee-themed colouring book and pencils.

Catherine Furlong, centre director at Teesside Park, said: “We know many people will be looking for different ways to get involved in Jubilee celebrations. Our new trail gives families something free and fun to do – all while having the chance to capture royal themed selfies along the way! Remember to tag ‘@Teesside_Park’ in any photos of yourself on your adventure on social media and we’ll re-share the best ones.

“And for those who’d rather go on a hunt for a tasty meal, or a new summer outfit, we’re open every day during over the Jubilee weekend.”

Teesside Park’s half term and Jubilee weekend core opening hours are as follows, but it’s always best to double check with individual retailers direct before setting off as these can vary:

  • Monday 30th May – Wednesday 1st June: 9am – 8pm
  • Thursday 2nd June & Friday 3rd June: 9am – 6pm
  • Saturday 4th June: 9am – 7pm
  • Sunday 5th June: 11am – 5pm
