Teesside says a Sweet Hello to New Hotel Chocolat Store

Luxury British chocolatier and cocoa grower, Hotel Chocolat, opens at Teesside this Friday (13th October), bringing its range of premium chocolate to the centre for the first time.

The new store will offer a wide variety of luxury chocolates, including its famous slabs, boxes and hampers.

It will also be home to a specialist café where shoppers can take a break and indulge in a menu which will include a variety of hot chocolates, Coffee Chocolat Lattes, ice cream and ‘teaolat’ – a tea infusion that blends herbs, spices and cacao shells.

To celebrate the opening, Hotel Chocolat is hosting a launch event on Friday 20th October where customers will be treated to free chocolate samples, a glass of prosecco and 15% off throughout the store. The first 20 shoppers through the doors will also receive a gift card with a value between £5 and £100.

Kyle Shepard, Hotel Chocolat store manager at Teesside, said: “We’re very much looking forward to bringing the latest addition in our boutique portfolio of stores to Teesside.

“As one of the world’s few cocoa growing chocolatiers, our products offer sophistication, style and uniqueness. As well as our diverse range of chocolates in-store, we hope that the new café will bring customers a relaxing space to stop off from their busy shopping trips and treat themselves to something from our menu.”

Mike Clarke, centre director at Teesside, said: “Hotel Chocolat is a fantastic new brand for the centre and town and we’re sure it will be a huge success with our local shoppers.

“The new store is part of our continued drive to provide shops that locals want and to make the centre a great place for people to spend time.”

Teesside’s Hotel Chocolat is located between Footasylum and H&M.
