North East Connected

Hopping Across The North East From Hub To Hub

Terrific trio to build Mobile Mini’s Marketing

A leading hirer of secure storage and portable site accommodation is developing its marketing team to help cement its strong reputation.

Mobile Mini, which has its headquarters in Stockton and branches across the country, has welcomed Marketing Director Rachel Dalby, marketing executive Kane Elgey and digital marketing apprentice Grace Gibbon to its team.

The trio, responsible for the development and delivery of the national firm’s marketing strategy, are looking forward to a new challenge.

Rachel, who has 19 years of experience in marketing, said: “Having extensive brand and marketing experience within financial, training and professional services, coming to Mobile Mini was the change of pace I was looking for.

“The variety of the role is exciting; working with the operational excellence manager one day, and reviewing SEO keywords the next, means the team and I always have a new task to get stuck into.

Kane said: “Even from being at school, marketing has been a passion so I’m thrilled to now be working with a national company from right here in the North East.”

“I’m keen to put my stamp on the role, working closely with Rachel to devise and implement the marketing plan, ultimately driving both national and local marketing campaigns.”

The company has a strong commitment to developing the next generation, with a variety of apprentices in its team studying everything from business administration and HR to management. This dedication has been carried into the marketing team with the appointment of digital marketing apprentice, Grace.

Rachel said: “Grace is a key member of the team and will help to drive our online presence.

“To me it was important to offer this opportunity to someone launching their career, but also for Mobile Mini to benefit from their skills and ideas.”

Speaking about the appointments, Managing Director Chris Morgan said: “We have experienced a strong period of growth and we’re now looking to make sure we remain the top choice for both customers and as a place to work, which is what Rachel and the team will be striving to achieve.

“Rachel brings with her a wealth of marketing experience which will only serve to drive forward our strategic objectives.”

Mobile Mini last year invested almost £3.5 million in its branch network following a surge in demand for its products, as well as upgrading its industry-leading fleet of lorry-mounted vehicles with an additional £1.5 million investment.
