One of County Durham’s leading estate agencies has trebled the size of its Chester-le-Street branch and expanded its team to cope with soaring demand.

Venture Properties has added two new members of staff to its existing team, to work alongside financial adviser, Ian Middlemass, who oversees the firm’s provision of financial and insurance services to all its customers.

The expansion, which has seen the addition of three large offices and kitchen facilities at the North Burns location, coincides with the fifth anniversary of Venture’s launch in Chester-le-Street and comes as the branch experiences growing demand for selling, letting and property management services.

Lynne Stephenson, director of Venture Properties said: “Previously we were bursting at the seams in Chester-le-Street, thanks to the town’s buoyant property market. Our success in the last five years has been phenomenal and is also attributed to our outstanding staff and the support of our clients, many of which have been with us since day one.

“Our latest expansion will enable us to improve our customer service and efficiency and we are always exploring ways to expand and make our business better in all service areas. We are looking forward to the next five years with confidence as we look to grow on several fronts.”

Venture Properties has a further five branches across County Durham, in Darlington, Cockerton, Crook, Durham and Bishop Auckland. Considered as one of the leading lights in estate agency in the area, the company prides itself on doing business differently, embracing change and challenging tradition, to give its customers the edge.
