Join everyone’s favourite dynamic duo as Wallace prepares to perform his musical masterpiece My Concerto in Eee Lad with help from his faithful canine companion Gromit…what could possibly go wrong?!

This interactive experience features specially created animations as well as live orchestral accompaniment and escapades from the Picture House Orchestra and presenter Matthew Sharp.

Followed by a screening of the Academy Award®?-winning Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers with the soundtrack performed by the orchestra live on stage, it’s set to be a grand day out for the whole family.

Paul Edis: Time and Place

In this very special performance, a venerated octagenarian conductor celebrates the exuberant musical mastery of youth, with a programme of music written entirely by teenagers.

Alongside Mendelssohn’s famous overture, Sage Gateshead marks Clara Schumann’s anniversary, discovers gems by Strauss and Schubert, and marvels at the amazing accomplishments of the 18-year-old Mozart.

Leo Sayer: Just A Boy at 70

British music legend Leo Sayer will be touring the UK in celebration of his 70th birthday year.

With this performance, Leo and his band bring boundless energy, exuberance and a hit-packed show to some of his favourite venues across the country.

Known the world over for his army of hits, which include: Thunder In My Heart, Moonlighting, One Man Band, I Can’t Stop Loving You, More Than I Can Say, Have You Ever Been in Love, The Show Must Go On and the transatlantic number ones, When I Need You and You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.

Skipinnish

Saturday 8 June, 8pm

Skipinnish encompasses the very best of contemporary Celtic music with a unique and sublime mix of chart-topping, self-penned songs and powerful bagpipe, fiddle and accordion-led tune sets.

As a result, the band has built a loyal and strong fan base since its formation, by co-founders Andrew Stevenson and Angus MacPhail, on the Isle of Tiree in 1999.

It has evolved into an 8-piece that has been named Live Act of the Year on two occasions at the Trad Music Awards and gained widespread recognition with the 2017 album, The Seventh Wave.

Skipinnish’s wonderfully evocative song writing coupled with the boundless energy of the live shows continues to captivate audiences throughout the UK and continental Europe.
