After decades of success, Darlington-based, Camera A Wedding Photography & Studio, has reached a milestone anniversary.
Following a record year for the Company, which has seen the highest demand yet for its wedding, portrait and commercial photography, Director of Camera A Wedding Photography, Jane Simmons, is thrilled to see the firm achieve its 35th anniversary in business.
Speaking about the anniversary, Jane said: “It feels fantastic to have been in business for this many years!
“We are getting to the stage where brides are coming to us because Ann, our founder, photographed their parents’ weddings, then they bring their children in for family portraits! It’s a lovely feeling to offer a service across generations.
“With the town centre changing so much over the past few years, we are proud to have been a constant feature in Darlington.”
Ann, Director of Camera A The Studio, who is also Jane’s mum, was delighted when her daughter decided to follow in her footsteps when she joined the business 12 years ago.
Ann is extremely proud of the Company and its progression. She said: “Having grown our family businesses over the last 35 years, we have built trust and developed long term relationships, not only with clients but also with the many outstanding wedding venues we work with in the North East, including having a special association with Headlam Hall. We’re so proud to have done it and our business is flourishing!”
As an all-female team of five, who together have over 70 years’ experience in photography, they put the business’ longevity down to strong attention to detail, new technology and their passion for the industry.
The pioneering firm is continually looking for ways to develop new services and it currently has plans to adapt its tailored wedding day packages to reflect an ever-changing market.
Thinking about the future of the Company, Jane said: “We’ll continue to update our services so we are ahead of our competition in the future. One fact will always remain; Camera A will continue provide a high-quality service that is professional on every level.
“We would like to thank our very loyal clients that keep coming back to the studio, as without them we would not have experienced 35 wonderful years in business.”
