One of Teesside’s largest, independently owned accountancy firms, Anderson Barrowcliff, has shown its commitment to the area following a recent office move.
Having out-grown its previous offices, the firm, which employs 55 staff, has invested in a significantly larger building in Kingfisher Court, Stockton, to allow for future growth.
Offering more space for its teams, as well as amenities for clients, the new offices allow for an open plan working environment, staff breakout areas and a range of meeting spaces.
Andrew Dewing, partner at Anderson Barrowcliff explains: “We were previously restricted in the space we could offer. Now we have plenty of rooms and options for both formal and informal meetings, as well as a large conference space we’re hoping to use for both internal and external training sessions.
“We arranged the layout with clients in mind and are keen to offer the space to them for use, even if we’re not required. As a Quickbooks approved cloud accounting partner, we will be using this space to offer our clients training on this and other cloud accounting software.
Newly appointed Managing Partner, Jerome Bury, said: “The whole team has been fantastic throughout the move. With the open plan layout, everyone can gain a greater understanding of how the business operates, as well as the conversations and challenges other colleagues face.
“The team has settled into its new space quickly which has resulted in a more integrated team atmosphere.
“The roots of our firm were established in the Tees Valley and we continue to invest in the region. Many of our team work closely with local charities as Trustees, volunteers and fundraisers which is another way we give back to the local area of which we are proud to be a part.”
