Big names in brand communications from the North East join forces to launch new PR agency

Two big names in brand communications from across the region have joined forces to launch a new PR agency.  Jason Knights of Blue Kangaroo Design and Anne-Marie Lacey (nee Bailey), the Chartered Institute of Public Relations North East’s Outstanding Young Communicator, have today announced a new creative communications offering for businesses operating in the lifestyle, leisure and entertainment industries – Filament PR.


Based in County Durham, the duo will be working with clients in the North East, across the UK and beyond, providing strategic and tactical PR and communications services, including media and blogger relations, social media, content marketing and SEO PR.

Commenting on the launch, Jason Knights, Managing Director of Filament PR, said: “Having worked in the design and brand communications industry for over 10 years, I spotted a business opportunity to expand my interests to include a PR and communications agency a while ago, after several of my clients at Blue Kangaroo asked for recommendations of PR agencies.
