Buddy Holly & The Cricketers and The English Rock and Roll Orchestra perform in Stockton, sixty years to the day that the real Buddy Holly played Stockton

On 5th March 1958, Buddy Holly and The Crickets played to a packed house at The Globe in Stockton, writing themselves into the history of Stockton on Tees and its thriving music scene forever.

Sixty years later to the very day, the UK’s best loved (and best) tribute act, Buddy Holly and The Cricketers will perform a very special show at ARC in Stockton.

Having seen the popularity of Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison’s re-releases with an orchestral backing, Buddy Holly and The Cricketers are bringing The English Rock and Roll Orchestra with them to provide a similarly thrilling experience in a live environment. What could be better than iconic rock ‘n’ roll classics with the added drama and bombast of live orchestration?

Buddy Holly and The Cricketers present Buddy’s music and other rock ’n’ roll greats as you have never heard them before. This truly remarkable evening of classic rock ’n’ roll will have the audience dancing in the aisles and shouting for more.

Buddy Holly and the Cricketers have thrilled audiences all over the world for more than quarter of a century and featured some of the finest international actor musicians in the business. They’re promising to make your Heartbeat a little faster with a show that has left thousands of fans the world over saying:  “I can’t believe it’s not Buddy!”
