People looking to get into shape for their summer holidays are being encouraged by South Tyneside Council to get fit for less.
The Council is giving people the opportunity to access all of its leisure facilities, which are spread right across the Borough, by buying a six week pass for just £25.
The pass, which will be available to purchase from 1st July until 15th August, will allow people to take advantage of over 110 fitness classes a week and use any of the Council-owned gyms, pools, saunas and steam rooms.
Councillor Alan Kerr, Deputy Leader with responsibility for Leisure and Culture, said: “With many people getting ready to jet off on their summer holidays, this is the ideal time to get into shape.
“I would encourage people to take advantage of this exceptional offer, make the most of our great facilities and enjoy some social time, while getting into shape at the same time.”
