What you wear on your arm reflects your personality; the word is getting smarter so you should be.  There are a lot more gadgets put there, but HUAWEI WATCH 3 has no match. Don’t be a fool; choose your gears wisely and smartly.  After a gap of four years, HUAWEI has launched its new and state of art tech featured smartwatch,  watch 3 Huawei.

It’s one of the most important products to come from Huawei in a while. The Watch 3 replaces the old software used on the Watch GT2 for HarmonyOS, Huawei’s self-developed operating system we’ve heard a lot about but until now have not had a chance to use.

When you talk or think about smartwatches,  the first this comes in your mind is the design, style, features, friendly interface, easy to carry, flexibility, and durability. The Huawei Watch 3 is a beautifully designed, fast, and accurate health-tracking smartwatch.

The Design

The Huawei Watch 3 is one of the best-looking smartwatches that you can buy today. With its prudent design, the smartwatch is quite comfortable to wear.  The case is made from 316L stainless steel and a ceramic case back emphasizing a high-quality, rich finish.

Not only that, the user can control the Watch 3 using the touchscreen and the top. The top’s stylish character has grip and is therefore easy to rotate with the help of a finger.

Interface and Display

Watch 3 smartwatch supports eSim that means users have an option to leave their smartphone at home. While other specifications shared by the two include a 1.43-inch 466 x 466 round AMOLED display, wireless charging, and a comprehensive health monitoring system. The 1.43” AMOLED panel is a bit larger than former watches from Huawei, but still in the same tune. The screen is quite bright and can reach 1,000 nits and it keeps the pixel density at 326 ppi.

The display is guarded by tempered glass, the smartwatch body is made out of high-quality steel and the back is made out of ceramic. With water-resistant up to 5 ATM and the body measures 46.2 mm in diameter and 12.15 mm in diameter, without the strap it weighs 54g. Huawei has created several different designs for the watch: Active (with a silicone strap), Classic (leather strap), Elite (metal band), and Classic (Milanese band)

The Distinctive Features and Operating System

HarmonyOS is entirely coming from the company, Huawei-created software ecosystem, designed to work seamlessly across everything from internet-of-things (IoT) hardware to smartphones. The Huawei Watch 3 is the first device to use HarmonyOS 2.

While talking about other features, the speed, working, and smoothness are extraordinary. There are no pauses and no slowdown, just instant response, with a delightful “bounce” effect when users swipe between screens and thoughtfully fast scroll. An engaging design with shiny colors, large icons, clear text, and some pretty watch faces, too make it different from other smartwatches around.

The device is packed with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It runs on the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. Huawei is pleased that it has brought AppGallery to the watch. This feature allows the users to download and install HarmonyOS apps directly on the watch, and no smartphone is required.

 Apps and Battery

HUAWEI WATCH 3is integrated with sensors such as Accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, barometer, compass, SpO2, and thermometer (body temperature). On the other hand, the smartwatch is equipped with some positioning supports like GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, and Bluetooth 5.2.

As far as the battery is concerned, the battery life in standard mode is 3 days with 4G enabled, enough life for a proper smartwatch. Not only that, the user can enable the Ultra-Long Lasting Mode that can enhance the battery to 14 days while keeping the necessary functionality enabled. These functions include SpO2 monitoring, 14 workout modes, Bluetooth calling, and even moving watch faces. Whereas the charging is done wirelessly.

Conclusion

Concluding, the Huawei Watch 3 is the first smartwatch to run HarmonyOS, and it’s an exceptional exhibition for the new operating system. Performance is remarkably smooth, and the super sharp AMOLED display shows off what the software has to offer. There’s an impressive selection of workout tools pre-installed as well.
