TIME is running out for nominations for an award scheme celebrating promising apprentices and Council staff who make a difference to their communities.
Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council’s Pride Awards nominations close on Friday 7 July 2017, 5pm.
The council is asking for public nominations for:
- The Making a Difference award – for an individual or a team within the council in recognition of their outstanding work in making a difference to people’s lives.
- The Geoff Waterfield memorial trophy – for an outstanding apprentice who is passionate to learn and achieve. This award is open to all apprentices who either live or work in the borough.
Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council Leader Sue Jeffrey said: “Making a nomination only takes a couple of minutes. If you’ve received great service from a council team or individual, or know of a terrific apprentice anywhere in our borough, please let them know who much you value them by making a nomination.”
