LAMBA Welding Systems is a family run business and has been operating from Richmond, North Yorkshire since 1988. In addition to the design and manufacture of custom built resistance welding machines, Friction Saws, Butt welders and providing spare parts, the business is now offering a “Machine Movement and Relocation Service” .
In 2012, the business moved to larger premises on the Gallowfields Industrial Estate to allow for further growth in relation to manufacturing Grating Welders and the Microwelder™ business they had purchased in 2012. Time is spent on research and development and the business has continued to develop their products and services.
They believe this new Machine Movement and Relocation Service would benefit their customers, many of whom have to move complete manufacturing cells within their respective companies due to continued investment in new manufacturing equipment. Lamba are offering a complete Turn Key package, which includes a site survey, disconnection of machinery and equipment, dedicated transport relocation to any UK/European destination. A refurbishment service is also available prior to delivery at the new location followed by reinstallation all equipment/services. All work will be covered by a full risk assessment and method statement as required by the HSE Governing Body. Lamba Welding Systems are one of very few companies who can offer these combined services in the North East.
There has been much talk recently of North East manufacturers innovating their way into increased profitability – this development for Lamba is testament to the level of skill and expertise this region has in manufacturing and engineering.
