The founders of clubbing travel brand Party Hard Travel have launched a fundraising initiative to assist Greek communities which have been devastated by recent wildfires in the country.
The aim of the fundraising campaign is to raise at least £5000 to assist those that have been affected by the wildfires which broke out on the 23rd July, east of the Greek capital Athens. A popular holiday resort, Mati, has been destroyed and more than 80 people are said to have died.
Party Hard Travel’s founders, Nathan Cable and Barry Moore were moved to launch the campaign due to close links with the area, saying: “We have many partners, suppliers and friends in Greece and were horrified to hear about the destruction wreaked by the wildfires. We are calling on everyone to donate as much as they can to Greek families whose homes and livelihoods have been destroyed. Money raised will go to pay for medical treatment, supplies and food for those affected.”
A Go Fund Me page has been set up for donations to the cause, with current donations at over £1600.
