However, in a nation of foodies, we all have different taste buds to please – one person’s foodie dream might be another’s foodie nightmare. So how different are our eating habits in the UK? Which meals are our favourites? And how do our cooking habits vary from region to region?

Pizza appears on Newcastle’s weekly menus the most, with 52% having it at least once a week. This is followed by curry (50%), Sunday roast (43%) and burgers (34%).
