Hambleton residents are reminded that a special green bin collection takes place next week for ‘Festive’ trees.
Trees must be placed in the bin and chopped up if necessary so that the lid is closed for the safety of the crew.
Alternatively trees can be taken to the household waste recycling centres at Sandholme Lane, Sowerby; Yafforth Road, Northallerton; Leeming Bar Industrial Estate; Stokesley Industrial Estate and Tholthorpe for composting. The sites are open from 8.30am until 4pm every day apart from Wednesdays when they are all closed.
Alternate green bin collections restart week commencing 22 February, 2016.
Residents are also reminded that Christmas cards can be placed in their blue bags for collection.
