A North East-based accountancy and business advisory firm has strengthened its leadership team with two promotions.
Baldwins, a CogitalGroup company, has promoted senior accountants, Tom Gale and Louise Watson, to associate directors of its Guisborough office to continue to enhance its services.
Recognised for their excellent leadership qualities and outstanding client service, Tom and Louise’s new roles will see them support Baldwins’ Partner Jon Gresham to ensure the office is run efficiently.
Tom, who has over 10 years’ experience within the industry, started his career at Baldwins in 2014 and is looking forward to beginning his new role.
He said: “I am really happy that all my hard work has paid off. I want to excel within this firm and thanks to the career progression opportunities Baldwins offers, I know this is possible, so I’m driven to achieve my goals within the company.”
Having worked for the firm for a decade, Louise is thrilled to have received the promotion. “I am looking forward to learning new skills and developing my personal qualities to enable me to be the best associate director I can be,” she said.
The promotions are key to the long-term success of the firm’s Guisborough office and they will ensure Baldwins is proactive in meeting their clients’ financial service requirements.
After experiencing an increase in demand for its Making Tax Digital services, the Guisborough office has also recently employed two accounts assistants.
Speaking about the growth and success of the firm, Regional Managing Partner, Andrew Little, said: “We now believe we have the right balance, with a hard-working and dedicated team in place who are eager to develop their skills and provide the highest-quality service for SMEs across the North East.
“We have ambitious growth plans for our 11 offices in the region and we will be looking to recruit further in the coming months.”
