A reputable commercial refurbishment specialists with Teesside at heart have continued to grow by announcing four new hires after securing more contracts across the region and beyond.
Wells CRS, led by co-owners Garry Wells and David Murphy, has taken Alfie Hiskett on as project manager along with multi-skilled engineer Lee Harrison. Junior electricians Anthony Butters and Lincoln Fairbairn have also joined the team.
The new appointments have been confirmed at a time when the Middlesbrough-based business is hitting targets for growth and more new projects have increased the need for extra staff.
Alfie, from Hartlepool, was initially brought in to oversee work with Stockton Borough Council at Wellington Square and he will now manage a welfare facility upgrade in London.
The 40-year-old, who has a track record for managing teams and different projects in previous roles, said: “Wells CRS is a great company to work for and they are all about giving chances to people.
“I want to repay the trust they have shown in me. I want to get the best results we can from as many projects as we can so we can get more work in.
“We want Wells CRS to grow even bigger than we are, with more and work coming in through the door to lead to further expansion.
“We are all about delivering better services and securing repeat contracts for clients. We have more new projects coming up in the coming weeks and it is an exciting time to be part of such a fantastic company.”
Wells CRS has established itself in the UK as an excellent commercial refurbishment specialist delivering quality results – and the aim is for that to continue with Alfie on board.
Co-owner David said: “Alfie takes a lot of pressure off Garry and myself in terms of the day-to-day running. He can manage local sites for us and potentially all over the country.
“He will be organising the labour, work, time, where workers are going week to week. He is reporting back to me and Garry if there are any issues. One minute he could be managing in London then the next day he could be back in the North-East.
“I have known Alfie for a long time and I know his attributes – he is fantastic at managing people and scenarios. He is already an asset to the company.”
Alfie will work closely with Wells’ other hires. Lee, from Middlesbrough, is a vastly experienced multi-skilled engineer, meaning he will be undertaking fabrication, joinery and painting jobs nationwide.
Nineteen-year-olds Anthony and Lincoln, from Stockton-on-Tees, have joined Wells with similar experience having worked on commercial sites before.
David said: “As a local company ran by local people It is important for us to give local people from Teesside opportunities, whether that it is here or across the UK. We are hitting our targets and we are looking forward to a bright future.”
