“I’ve been fortunate enough to build up a really strong following from people over the years as a result of me helping them realise their creative potential and become artists by using the stamps we have developed.

“It is very humbling to be recognised on this scale and the awards are on display at my home in Gateshead for all to see!”

Sheena recently appeared at the grand opening of Crafter’s Companion’s first UK retail outlet in Newton Aycliffe to help celebrate the launch of the store as a destination for all crafters.

Now in its tenth year, the International Craft Awards ceremony is nominated and voted for by consumers to celebrate the world’s best creators, producers, designers and retailers within the creative sector.

Sheena added: “Being nominated by my fantastic and loyal customers makes the awards extra special.

“I’m always delighted to hear that my products are inspiring and educating people all over the world to become artists, and this is something I will continue to develop, particularly in the North East, to get even more people into crafting.”
