Sunderland Apprentice Keavy Greener has been recognised as Learner of the Month by leading training provider Qube Learning.  Inspiring 16 year old Keavy showed real enthusiasm and commitment during her Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service at the popular clothing store Peacocks.  Her hard work has been rewarded with vouchers to enjoy some retail therapy.

Keavy found school a challenge from day one; she was the youngest in her year and continually had difficulty keeping up. She has always had a keen work ethic though and from the age of 14 years, she worked for the Sunderland Echo selling newspapers every day of the week before and after school, in all weathers.

When Keavy was successful at her interview with Peacocks she was overjoyed.  Straight away she made an impact by arriving on time, willing to do whatever was asked of her and continuing to shine with her positive attitude.

Keavy’s tutor from Qube Learning, Gemma comments:

“Keavy’s Manager has described her as a breath of fresh air and an example to all the store’s employees, which is a fantastic achievement for someone so young.   We wanted to commend the impact Keavy has made during her Apprenticeship as well as celebrating her dedication to learning.  The Apprenticeship has given her the support and structure she needed to continue her education beyond the classroom.  We are excited about what lays ahead and know that she has a bright journey to carry on with.”

Qube Learning is proud to be an OFSTED grade 2 (Good) training provider and works with hundreds of employers across the country delivering a range of training courses and qualifications to a multitude of learners.
