Calling all gin enthusiasts! As part of a series of bespoke events inspired by Great Exhibition of the North, Fenwick Newcastle is continuing the celebrations by inviting budding gin connoisseurs to discover something new about the on-trend beverage.
Great Northern Gin Discovery will be just the tonic for a summer social when it takes places place within the renowned Food Hall on Friday 17 August, 6pm-8pm.
The exclusive sampling event is a chance to experience much more than the classic G&T as experts guide guests through the very best of the North’s gin and its characterful producers.
From small-batch, hyper-local gins to uniquely-flavoured liqueurs from further afield, customers have the opportunity to learn how spirits are made from the makers themselves and take away expert tips for pairing and garnishing drinks.
While sampling the perfect serves and mastering the art of mixology, guests can also enjoy a selection of canapés from Mason + Rye.
With the likes of Steampunk Gin originating in Low Fell and Poetic License in Sunderland, visitors to the Great Northern Gin Discovery can uncover exactly what the region has to offer. Other highlights include Northern delights from Zymurgorium Distillery in Manchester, The Lakes Distillery in The Lake District and Arrowsmiths Gin from Cheshire.

The Great Northern Gin Discovery at Fenwick will run from 6pm until 8pm on Friday 17 August 2018, with tickets priced at £10 (for over 18s only). The ticket price is redeemable against gin purchases over £50 until Sunday 19 August 2018.
