LEADING housebuilder Miller Homes has opened the doors to its new development Westburn Village in Hebburn following a successful online launch.

The first development from Miller Homes to open using the housebuilder’s new innovative online reservation system, the launch saw nine buyers secure their dream home online on the first day of sales prior to the opening of the marketing suite on site.

The new offering means that buyers wishing to purchase a new home from Miller Homes can now reserve and pay a reservation fee on their chosen home via the housebuilder’s website in a few simple steps at a time and place convenient for them, even if the sales centre is closed.

Following a successful online launch, buyers can now visit the marketing suite at Westburn Village to find out more about the initial release of high quality, energy efficient two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

These are priced from £144,950* and include the two-bedroom Yare, the three-bedroom Tweed and Kipling, the four-bedroom EskTraversBuchan and Tressell, and the five-bedroom Jura.

Coming soon to the development, which is situated alongside Hebburn Riverside Park and less than seven miles from the centre of Newcastle, is the three-bedroom HawthorneWaingrovesTolkienOrwellLarkin and Hardwicke, the four-bedroom Mitford and Stevenson, and the five-bedroom Buttermere.

Andrew Somerville, associate sales director at Miller Homes North East, said: “We are proud to be the first housebuilder to provide an online reservation service for our buyers and we were delighted that Westburn Village was the company’s first development to launch its sales online.

“We have had a huge amount of interest in the development and we are looking forward to welcoming more prospective buyers following the opening of our marketing suite.  Potential homebuyers can come along and speak to our team and will have the option to reserve via the sales adviser or reserve online should they wish to do so.

“A home at Westburn Village will allow buyers to enjoy the best of both worlds, with close proximity to the river, green spaces within walking distance of the development, and city life in Newcastle just a short journey away.

“Nearby public transport links to the wider Tyneside area make it ideally suited to commuters, as well as family life thanks to a choice of good schools and local amenities nearby.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming those interested in the homes available, from first-time home owners to growing families in need of more space, and are gearing up for the launch of the development’s showhomes which are due to open at the end of May.”

For qualifying house hunters, the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme‡ is available at Westburn Village to assist buyers in securing their first home.

A Help to Buy Equity Loan offers assistance for buyers who only have a deposit of 5% through the provision of a 20% equity loan from the Government for those who meet the qualifying criteria, meaning buyers only need to secure a 75% mortgage from a provider.

Prospective buyers interested in Westburn Village should visit the development’s sales office, which is open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.30pm, or for more information on Westburn Village call 03331 224 522 or visit www.millerhomes.co.uk/new-homes/north-east/westburn-village-hebburn.aspx.

Passionate about creating sustainable communities in sought-after locations, Westburn Village is the second of four new developments to be launched in the region by Miller Homes over the coming months, following Brookland Park in Acklam and preceding the launch of The Oaklands in School Aycliffe and The Paddocks in Longframlington.

Elsewhere in the region, Miller Homes currently has a number of developments including Shoreland Park in Hadston, Broadoaks in Bedlington, Barley Meadows in Cramlington, Portland Wynd in Blyth, Heritage Green in Backworth, Park View in Gateshead, Scholars Gate in Shiney Row, Hunters Fold in Middleton St George, Brookland Park in Acklam, Clairville Grange in Middlesbrough, and Wheatlands Chase in Redcar.
