Demand for industrial space in South East Northumberland has seen two new purpose built workshop units constructed at the Nelson Park Network Centre in Cramlington.
The units, each at 6,000 square feet, have been constructed by Arch and are available to reserve now either separately or as a package and will be ready for occupation in January 2016.
The units provide new business space for industrial and trade counter use, featuring practical interior layouts, on-site parking and external storage areas.
Councillor Dave Ledger, Arch chairman and deputy leader of Northumberland County Council, said: “The Cramlington Network site is in a fantastic central location which is very well served by local transport connections and nearby retail and leisure centres. Arch’s aim is to offer high-quality purpose built industrial units and these new units are another illustration of ourcontinued investment in supporting businesses and jobs.”
With a portfolio of one million square feet of space, Arch is now building speculative business space throughout Northumberland. The portfolio consists of industrial workshop and warehouse units, office buildings, suites, business parks and managed workspace. The first tenants moved into Blyth Workspace in March 2015 and a new office building in Berwick will be ready to occupy in 2016. Property sizes range from approximately 500 square feet to 40,000 square feet.
“By investing in market intelligence, we are able to develop new office and industrial space specifically designed to support key sectors and regeneration priorities,” explained Councillor Ledger.
