Visualsoft Celebrates Triple Shortlist

CaptureStockton firm Visualsoft is in the running for three awards at The Employee Engagement Awards 2015 in London. The company announced it had been shortlisted for the Wellness Award, Project Of The Year within the private sector, and the Employee Choice Award on Friday.

The EE awards recognises and celebrates the people companies who reinvent the way organisations think about and engage employees to achieve their goals and reach maximum productivity – something which Visualsoft is a firm believer of.  The final category – The Employee Choice Award – was voted for by Visualsoft staff based on feedback from an employee engagement questionnaire.

The company implemented an innovative new benefits package to all staff members in September 2014, consisting of unlimited paid holidays, flexible working and free breakfasts. It’s simple – the employees can take as much time off as they want, whenever they want, and can work from wherever they want, as long as standards are maintained.

Since the introduction, Visualsoft has recorded some impressive stats – the company has seen a positive rise in all areas of the business, including staff morale, creativity, productivity and client satisfaction.

Visualsoft’s CEO Dean Benson said ‘We’re absolutely thrilled to have been recognised by the 2015 Employee Engagement Awards. We’re truly passionate about employee engagement and wellbeing, and its great to see so many like minded companies in the shortlist!’

Other finalists include BMW,  Warburtons, Lloyds Banking Group, EMC, Canon, Twinings, Nationwide, Direct Line and many more.

Speaking about Visualsoft’s employee benefits, Benson added ‘We believe that staff should not be tied down by strict working hours or monitored by their time spent in the office. We introduced this innovative new way of working to give our staff the flexibility they deserve – whether they’re working from home, answering emails from a cafe or calling clients on the go, as long as they get the job done, we’re happy for them to do as they please!’

The winners will be announced at the Employee Engagement Awards Ceremony, held at The Brewery in London on 28th January 2015.

Visualsoft employs 206 members of staff across three offices in Stockton On Tees, Newcastle and London. The digital agency has also recently announced that it has acquired a new base in Manchester, which will welcome its first employee next month. Since it was established in 1998, the company has grown at an average rate of 300% per year, and now has a portfolio of over 1200 clients from the UK and Europe.
